LyondellBasell の連結財務諸表が発表されている。
Basell によるLyondell 買収に伴い、2007年12月21日から旧 Lyondell の業績が加算され、2008年の売上高は急増した。

損益面では需要減や売価値下がりなどのほか、在庫評価減とノレン償却があり、営業損益では59億ドルの赤字（前年比69億ドルの悪化）、当期純損益では73億ドルの赤字となった。
2008年の営業損益には以下を含む。
ノレン償却 4,982 百万ドル（うちLyondell買収 4,921百万ドル）
減損損失 218百万ドル（2008/4 Shell から買収の Berre refinery の設備）
在庫評価減 1,256百万ドル
ノレン償却等を除外すると、前年比17億ドルの採算悪化となり、在庫評価減を除いても4億ドルの採算悪化となっている。

このほか、借入金の増加により、支払利息が21億ドルも増えており、当期損失の大きな要因となっている。
2008年末の長期借入金の残高は 23,195百万ドル（約 2.2兆円）となっている。
（金利支払不能で、ほぼ全額が期限の利益を失い、短期借入金に計上されている。）
